All whitetail hunters are not pursuing the same deer depending on where they hunt and more often how much time they have to invest in their hobby. 24SEVEN Dominant Buck is not the preferred scent for the guy looking to fill the freezer. This is a tool for the hunter pursuing one of the mature bucks working his hunting area. MDR Outdoor Group collects premium mature whitetail buck urine from its captive bucks during the period of the year when their testosterone levels are elevated. We also remove tarsal glands from harvested mature whitetail bucks and extract those dominant hormones from them. These extracts combined with the collected urine and finally combined with our patented, 7-day timed-release granules provide the big buck hunter with what we believe to be the ultimate scrape scent available in today’s market. This product can also be used successfully in laying scent trails between bedding and feeding areas leading to your stand sights prior to the breeding season. Once whitetail buck bachelor groups break up, which usually takes place in mid to late September in the north, up until the time bucks begin seeking and chasing does, mature whitetail bucks become very concerned with other mature bucks that either reside in or on the perimeters of the territory they are establishing. Mature bucks will scent trail these other bucks to confront them with intentions of driving them off. This period lasts for up to 6 weeks. Far too many hunters elect to use a doe-in-heat scent too early in their season when it’s really not the scent that will provide the best responses. A hunter should be able to get at least a couple hundred yards of trail out of a full bottle of 24SEVEN products. More likely it would be 3-5 shorter trails using fractions of the bottle. Once again, if your goal is just filling tags and not having racks scored, this is not the scent for you!
